oh, Cameo...

hello all, how are you?

i have lots of little 'collections' of things, and i thought id show you my collection of Cameo jewellery [and a few pretty framed pieces too]

here are the cameo pieces [along with some of my other more 'dainty' pendants] that are on my wall...

this one is one of my faves, its from Accessorize, and i love it...
i got this cameo necklace from ebay, and this pretty brooch is from a car boot sale...
i cant remember where this necklace is from, but i do love this one too!
here is a selection of some of my cameo rings, ive got two 'traditional' cameo silhouettes, one skull and crossbones and a pretty flower ring. pretty.

and some earrings... one pair is vintage and one isnt. can you guess which is which!? LOL.
cameoooooooooo...
i dont know if these old-looking frames are classed as 'cameos', but i think they kind of are, so...
i hope you like my little collection of Cameos. do you like Cameo jewellery/homewares/frames!? do you have any!?

Car Boot Booty:

i went to a car boot sale with my brother and my future sister-in-law [aw!] this morning and had a wander around and bought stuff, it was the 'Batleys' one at Chester-Le-Street for anyone whos local!

heres my car boot haul from earlier today:

four books for a pound! a book about 'evil cults' - amazing, a seamus heaney poetry book, a william shakespeare booky, and 'Wordsworh's Verse'. nice.
a silver coloured pocket watch and a lovely paisley brooch:
here is the pocket watch, its really modern but in a vintage style. i like it:
and the brooch, i LOVE paisley and i just think it looks so indian with the gold and purple! :)
a miniature frame, how cute:
here is my mini beauty haul, lol. not bad for £1!
candy orange, YUM
a duck and a chicken, these will be made into rings i think!
theyre small, and so cute!
Total Spend: £5.50

well, i do love a car booty, and i think ive done pretty well for only £5.50! i love all the things ive bought. have you bought anything great from a car boot sale/vintage fair etc recently?

hip, hip, Rosehip

hello.

heres a post about the lovely gift tags i WON in a giveaway from an awesome company called 'Rosehip', who make 'modern british stationary and paper products'.

i won them by commenting on a blog post, and im so happy that i did, as i commented that id like to use the tags as 'backing tags' for some of the jewellery ive made using vintage and new buttons.

here they are, along with a little handwritten tag from Silkie [which is an amazing name!]

here is what ive done with one of them, ive added one of my own 'Moo' Minicards too:
and here are some button pieces im gona use some of the other tags for very soon! how exciting:
so, i do hope you liked this post, and my cute gift tags! i hope its ok to use them as tags for my jewellery. im sure it is!?
