{Freaky Jewellery}

hello! here are some photos and stuff of the jewellery and craft swap i did with the lovely Addison aka 'Freak Carousel', who makes amazing resin jewellery and also runs workshops so you can make your own! awesome.

i wanted to get into doing more jewellery swaps as id seen loads of tweets from people about swaps they had done, and i was like, i want some of that...

so i tweeted, and Addison got back to me and we arranged a swap. the swap was a jewellery AND crafty 'supplies' swap, with the value of items agreed at around £15. Addison was in the process of moving [or had just moved!?] and had some issues with the package, which was ok, as she let me know what was going on and when she was able to send the package, she was so nice and said she would send me an extra something as i had to wait a bit. lovely.

this is what i got:

{some lovely stripey beads, and some extra little beads too, like a peace sign, skulls and more. ooh, IF i ever do any resin jewellery, imagine these guys inside some resin, OOH}

{when i saw this little organza bag i was like "waaaahhhh"}

heres me wearing the pendant, YEAH!

the necklace/pendant is AMAZING, its so quirky and its just awesome. its got some lovely hot pink glitter in the background and a REAL GOOGLY EYE within it, the eye really moves! YES.

Addison also sent this personalised/custom bracelet with lyrics from my fave band ever, QOTSA's new track 'My God Is The Sun' in/on it. WOW:

how good is that!? i love all the things Addison has sent, WOW. thank YOUUU.

im hoping Addison likes the things ive sent her, i didnt take a photo of them, but i sent her a 'stacked' poker chip pendant, quirky turtle earrings and a 'toothy' ring, as well as some beads and crafty bits, all in handmade wordsearch envelopes!

i love doing swaps, so if anyone would like to any kind of swap with me, let me know!?

Bakewell and Matlock Bath.

hello.

yesterday i got back from a National Holidays trip to 'Chester and The Peaks' with my mam. we went to the Trafford Centre, Chester, Matlock Bath, Bakewell, had a coach tour around the Peak District and finally we went to Salford Quays! we had a lovely time, and for the money, id really recommend it, as you get to go to a lot of different places!
here are some photos i took:

Mini Moo.

here is ANOTHER post about the brilliant Moo and their Minicards.

 

ive ordered Minicards and business cards from Moo before, and i was so happy with the colours and the quality. i saw a link on twitter a few weeks ago for 100 FREE Minicards [all you pay is p&p], so i got some in a 'Textomatic' design, so they would match the business cards i got form Moo previously.

Delilah Dust Jewellery:

hello again, hope youre all well!

 

heres a post about some jewellery i bought recently from the lovely Antonia, who owns Delilah Dust.

 

she tweeted that there was a SALE on the website [there are still LOTS of clearance items on the site, so have a look] i spotted an adorable silver triple cross necklace on there for only £1.70 with free p&p. YES. i had also noticed Antonia tweeted that all orders would recieve a FREE gift also, so that was good!

Primark Mini Jewellery 'Haul'

ok, so i went to town the other day, and although i am angered at the lack of sizes my local Primark seems to have out on the racks/shelves, i always love their jewellery.

this isnt a proper 'haul' as i only bought a few things, but i thought id share them with you:

 

firstly, i got this sweet pack of 6 earrings, and they were in the SALE for only £1! for six pairs of studs, i HAD to have them!

 

 

then i got this hand harness, cos i had been looking at some on ebay, but this one was only £2, which is great! i did have to alter it a bit though, because ive got quite small hands, but it fits great now:

 

 

then i got this sweet 'Pisces' necklace for only 50p! AMAZING!

 

 

then, this isnt jewellery, but i got it at the same time, so here it is. these nail wraps were also only 50p, so if they dont work, or i mess it up, i dont mind!

little trinkets.

hello.

 

i was gona do a blog post AGES ago about my wee collection of little trinket/pill boxes, but didnt. then i mentioned it to Anna [via twitter] and she said she would like to see my collection so far. so here it is:

 

 

i got most of these from car boot sales/antiques fairs for like 50p-£2 each!

 

 

the two below are my favourites, the little dinky one in particular i just LOVE!

 

 

 

the 2 below are a bit different from the rest of the collection, as theyre ceramic/porcelain. i got them at different boot sales/antiques fairs at totally different times, which is WEIRD! i just think theyre really cute [i love polka dots]

 

 

i also have this metal box, which is pretty big in comparison to the others in the 'collection and is more like a mini jewellery box, rather than a trinket box, but its with all my other boxes on my bookcase, so here it is:

 

 

i just love the detail in the middle, and the swirls!
