thats a quote from 'Waterworld' there, its an epic film.

anyway, heres a post about some of the bits ive made so far with mah resin, i had wanted some for ages, so i finally got some for christmas, and couldnt wait to use it! oh yes!

here are the first EVER bits i made, in their moulds/CASES

 and here are the pieces, out of their moulds/cases, along with a piece i just 'glazed/domed' the top of [hello kitty!]

it did take a few 'gos' at the resin to get used to using it and how long to leave each layer etc, but i think i did ok with the third 'batch' of stuff i made, which included this pretty 'WholeNewWorld' princess Jasmine piece:

 i also made this pretty pink 'SkullCandy' piece:

 here are the 'UndertheSea" and "YoureaStar" pieces, showing the first layers in their cases:

and here is the finished "UnderTheSea" piece, with added wooden beads as pebbles/sand and blue glitter! and it might just be my fave Disney piece so far...

 i also LOVE the red glitter and letter beads in this star piece:

heres a quirky ring i made using teeny little stars, encased within a big star, with some glitter too of course!

 this is one of the latest skull pieces ive made, called "BlueMonday". ive added some blue 'gems' to the front of it and i really like it:

{Freaky Jewellery}

hello! here are some photos and stuff of the jewellery and craft swap i did with the lovely Addison aka 'Freak Carousel', who makes amazing resin jewellery and also runs workshops so you can make your own! awesome.

i wanted to get into doing more jewellery swaps as id seen loads of tweets from people about swaps they had done, and i was like, i want some of that...

so i tweeted, and Addison got back to me and we arranged a swap. the swap was a jewellery AND crafty 'supplies' swap, with the value of items agreed at around £15. Addison was in the process of moving [or had just moved!?] and had some issues with the package, which was ok, as she let me know what was going on and when she was able to send the package, she was so nice and said she would send me an extra something as i had to wait a bit. lovely.

this is what i got:

{some lovely stripey beads, and some extra little beads too, like a peace sign, skulls and more. ooh, IF i ever do any resin jewellery, imagine these guys inside some resin, OOH}

heres me wearing the pendant, YEAH!

the necklace/pendant is AMAZING, its so quirky and its just awesome. its got some lovely hot pink glitter in the background and a REAL GOOGLY EYE within it, the eye really moves! YES.

Addison also sent this personalised/custom bracelet with lyrics from my fave band ever, QOTSA's new track 'My God Is The Sun' in/on it. WOW:

how good is that!? i love all the things Addison has sent, WOW. thank YOUUU.

im hoping Addison likes the things ive sent her, i didnt take a photo of them, but i sent her a 'stacked' poker chip pendant, quirky turtle earrings and a 'toothy' ring, as well as some beads and crafty bits, all in handmade wordsearch envelopes!

i love doing swaps, so if anyone would like to any kind of swap with me, let me know!?

My Name Is...

 

here it is, my necklace from @StacyScissors is finally here!

 

ok, so... i had wanted an acrylic name necklace for ages, and after i bought an AMAZING pendant from her before http://xjewelleryandstuffx.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/runningwithscissors.html Stacy kindly sent me a discount code for 50% off my next purchase! EPIC! so after MUCH thinking about which colours to choose from and which font to go for i placed my order and i eagerly awaited it being made! it said it could take 4 weeks to be made, but it didnt take that long... YEAH

 

here it is, in all its pink glittery glory

 

 

 

the colours i went for are: 'bubblegum' for the background and 'snowflake' for the upper layer!

 

Stacy also sent me a cute glittery skull ring [which is good, cos i accidentally snapped the one she sent me with my last purchase]

 

here is me wearing my necklace, i couldnt wait to put it on!

 

the necklace only worked out at around £10 including p&p! which is AMAZING. but even at the normal price, id reccommend you get one cos theyre awesome!

 

theyre such good quality and the colours are so lovely!
