happy birthday to me...

hi people.

well, it was my birthday a few days ago, on the 7th, and i thought id show you a few of the things i got...

heres a pretty gift bag my bestie gave me, it had some Lindt Lindor chocolates in it and a £10 New Look gift card, yey.

below is a selection of some of the other gifts i got... including an Ed Hardy 'Born Wild' fragrance set, some Hotel Chocolat strawberry 'Munchkins' and a milk chocolate smiley lolly, ALL off my mate Vic.

theres also a cute Soap and Glory miniature gift set i got off my brother and his girlfriend katie. yup. i also got a MASSIVE box of chocolates from Thorntons and £30 off them too, which was nice.

above is a bracelet my mam got from her friend, who made it specially for moi :)



so yeah, i had a great birthday... and got lots of lovely gifts.

charity begins at scope...

hello. well, after we [me, dan and his girlfriend katie] had been to the auction viewing yesterday we all went to town after and we popped into a few charity shops, mainly cos my brother loves a look about at all the bits and bobs. i dont mind a look too, like.

we went into the charity shop 'scope' and they had a jewellery sale on. i CANNOT resist at the very least having a look at jewellery in a sale, anywhere. especially somewhere i knew itd be cheap!

so yes, i spotted this CUTE anchor necklace on sale for just 50p! i simply HAD to have it.

they had quite a few of the necklaces in my local scope [sunderland] so they may have them in yours too. do have a check...

i also got THIS necklace for my mam, as part of her mothers day gifts. it was in the sale for only £1 too. excellent. its a pretty pinky/purple colour with a nice metallic shimmer. its nice. hope she will like it...

i do like a charity shop, me. go and have a potter about in your local one/s. theyre brilliant.

kitty, kitty...

hello y'all.

i recently made a bottlecap pendant using a CUTE hard plastic kawaii sticker i got in a pack of about 30 in the sale from accessorize [im gona make many nice,cute things with them soon]

i stuck in the sticker, then used a 3D gloss [which is meant to be used for papercrafts, but whatever] and poured over loads of fine pink glitter. when all that was set and dry, i attached a silver plated pendant bail to the back of the bottlecap. i already had the orange plaited necklace lying around, unsure of what to make with it/put on it, so i thought it would go nicely on there. then i added 2 orange wooden beads that have a chinese symbol on em [god knows what it means, if anything...] still, i think it adds to the 'kawaii' feel i wanted.

i think the "KawaiiKitty" necklace is perfect for lovers of hello kitty, sanrio and anything kawaii.

i thought i would share with you a post about a lovely necklace i bought very recently from 'scarlett hearts', who are based very locally in newastle :)

i had wanted one of these quirky necklaces for ages, and when i saw this one for only £4! i had to have it. [i also used a discount code, which i got from twitter, meaning it worked out cheaper] i usually wear silver but do have a few gold coloured bits and thought the gold looked more vintage, so i opted for that version.

welcomeTOmyBOUDOIR...

...well, its hardly a boudoir, but i thought i would share some images of my room with you, after being inspired by a blog post by MessyCarla [here is the link to that very post... http://messycarla.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-room.html]

our house is, and has been getting 'modernised', meaning all the walls have to be repainted etc and all that jazz, so my room will look a bit diffrent soon. the time is now... my room in general was a bit childish, but i liked it that way and still do. but, im 26 now, so the walls at least can look a bit more 'grown up'. heh.

heres a lovely image of one of my walls. they will all probably be put right back up there in the same place/s once all the redecorating is done. that charming print is by 'gorjuss'.

this is my 'back wall' here, you can see some of my shelves filled with stuffs and the 'kerrang' cutouts behind [those BMTH stickers are there to cover some shoddily applied foam stickers etc. bah]

this is a corner of my room. i like it. hello kitty is there and above her is/was brody dalle aka mrs josh homme. awesome

thats all now. hope u liked my old room. i shall blog pics of the new and improved redecorated room in like, a month. meh

its always nice to get free stuff isnt it. and i was pleasantly surprised to WIN the quirky horse necklace.
